Origins: The Early Years

📖
Early 2000s

My Dad gave me an introductory book on building websites. I was hooked immediately.

Throughout 2000s

Explored everything: Java, VB.Net, C, C++. Built my first programs and fell deeper in love with code.

🎮
2008

Posted my C++ work to forums (basic by today's standards, but exciting then!). Made a Mario platformer in GameMaker with Megaman music.

🎯
Teen Years

Coded a text adventure in Java (lost to time) and a point-and-shoot game using Half Life & Unreal Tournament sounds.

🎮
Wii Era

Got into Wii Homebrew development. Just a kid experimenting and learning.

💰
High School

Post-secondary students started paying me to help with their homework. That's when I knew I had a future in this.

🌍
2018-2020

Years of freelancing, honing my craft and building real-world experience.

"What started as a childhood curiosity became two decades of hands-on experience—building, learning, and solving real problems with code."

The Spark

Started coding as a child in the early 2000s—Java, C++, GameMaker, and everything in between. Built games, explored Wii Homebrew, and fell in love with creating.

🎯

The Pivot

In 2023, I was targeted by a pig butchering scam. I recognized what was happening early and decided to play along to learn their methods. It wasn't without cost, but that knowledge became the foundation for building tools that help protect others.

⚔️

The Fusion

Used my dev skills to build tools for tracking scammers. Domain takedowns, automated reporting, and eventually—AI phone agents for legitimate businesses.

Investigating school scammer network

Two decades of coding experience—from childhood experiments to professional development—combined with a commitment to using technology responsibly. Today I build AI-powered solutions for legitimate businesses while contributing to fraud prevention efforts. I believe technology should solve real problems and serve people well. I'm looking for opportunities to bring this experience and perspective to a team that values both technical depth and ethical impact.

Fraud Prevention Work

After encountering online fraud, I started building tools to help others avoid the same experience. This means tracking scam patterns, automating abuse reports, and working with domain registrars to take down fraudulent websites.
